Pleasanton Lions Club Sight Awareness & Eyeglass Drop-Off
Pleasanton Lions Club Sight Awareness program promotes eyeglass recycling as one of our most impactful service activities. The Lions have been collecting used glasses for over eighty years, officially adopting the program in 1994. Through the Lions Recycle for Sight Program, I help provide corrective lenses to people in developing countries who otherwise would not have access to basic eye care.
Millions of people around the world need eyeglasses to correct refractive errors, yet many lack the resources to get them. By donating your used glasses, you make a direct difference in someone’s life. Every pair is cleaned, sorted, and distributed at Lions free eye clinics worldwide.
