About the Pleasanton Lions Club
about Pleasanton Lions Club
The Pleasanton Lions Club is a group of volunteers who serve Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley area. Since 1930, our members have come from many backgrounds to help others, one project, one neighbor, and one act of kindness at a time.
We are part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization. We believe that working together and leading locally can make a real difference, and for over 90 years, that belief has guided everything we do.
Our projects include vision screenings and eyeglass collection through our Sight Awareness program, scholarships for students, food drives, support for local charities, park improvements, and direct assistance for families in need. We also bring the community together through signature events like our annual Crab Feed and the Matthew Yount Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament, raising funds that go right back into Pleasanton.
As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, every donation and volunteer hour directly supports the people and causes that make our city stronger. We meet bi-weekly to plan, connect, and put service into action.
We are proud to work hard for Pleasanton, make new friends, and strengthen our city through service, support, and fellowship. We welcome anyone who wants to help. Whether you want to volunteer, become a member, or support our events and causes, there is a place for you in the Pleasanton Lions Club family.
